Two millionth Dose: Greater Campbell River statistics

“We have been reaching another exciting milestone, in our immunization here in BC. At some time today, the two millionth dose will have been given to people in British Columbia,” said provincial health officer Bonnie Henry, yesterday afternoon.  

That’s nearly half of the provinces 4.3 million eligible residents.

COVID 19: numbers of active cases continuing to fall

“Travel restrictions for non-essential travel in B.C. are in place until May 25 to stop the spread of COVID-19 and variants of concern. Fines can be given to people who leave their region for non-essential travel. Stay local and stay in your community. Do not travel for non-essential reasons.” – BC Government update of April 23, 2021.

The numbers of active cases in North Vancouver Island are continuing to fall.

COVID Update for Thursday, April 15, 2021

COVID update for North Vancouver Island and the Greater Campbell River area: While the rest of British Columbia reels under reports of COVID’s third wave, it still does not appear to more than touched North Vancouver Island. The number of active cases has risen slightly, to 37, as of late yesterday afternoon.
