  • Cortes Currents – 5,268 people visited Cortes Currents, 879 were repeat viewers. There were 157,000 web impressions and 3,300 clicks on the web; 5,268 people viewed 14,750 pages. The top 3 nations of origin were Canada (61.75%), United States (19.88%) and American Samoa (1.44%).
    • Locations: 24.953% (1,082 viewers) of all web traffic came from our listening area: – 1,560 users from ‘Not Set’ Area #1 (Cortes, Quadra, Lund and surrounding rural areas); 203 from Campbell River; 59 from Powell River; 2 from Comox) (2) Vancouver – 569 (11.39%); (3) Gibsons 414 (7.16%)
      • The new Google Analytics G4A program identified a ‘not set’ group of 446 visitors, who appear to come from Cortes Island and the surrounding area. They are a subset of  ‘Not Set’ Area #1.
    • How people came to the website: 61.83% through web searches; 25.94% came directly to the website; 10.53% were referred by third party websites (like Tideline) 1.69% came through social media (like Facebook, twitter etc).
    • There was a core of 933 ‘return users,’ 538 (53.53%) came through web searches; 261 (25.97%) were referred by third party sites (like our e-mailouts or the Tideline); 197 (19.60%) came directly to the site; 9 (0.90%)were referred by social media.  289 of these return users came more than 26 times and 43 came more than 200 times. 
  • SoundCloud Podcasts – Only 910 Plays; The top 3 nations of origin were Canada (571), the United States (100) and the UK (28) The top 3 locations were: (1) Vancouver (215); CKTZ’s Broadcast Area (189, which breaks down into Mansons Landing-157; Campbell River-19, Powell River-10, Quathiaski Cove-3) (3) Dublin,Ireland (23)
