The organization arrived at the current site plan after an involved community consultation that spanned several months in the fall of 2021.
Project Manager Kate Maddigan said the comprehensive plan incorporated as many suggestions as possible, and includes a central covered area with a stage and fire pit, a cooking hut, vending spaces, play areas, multi-use indoor spaces and even potential housing for a caretaker, as well as green spaces.
The next step is to build a business plan, then secure funding for the construction.
Residents can still comment on the final design by contacting Kate Maddigan at project.mgr.cceda@abby-francis.
