Squirrel Cove Project temporarily on hold, Q&A

There has been very little movement at QXMC’s Squirrel Cove project recently, so Cortes Currents emailed Marco Bedetti, General Manager of QXMC, three questions.

Cortes Currents: What’s happening with the Squirrel Cove Project?

Marco Bedetti: “As observed when passing by, there is currently no active construction on the site. We have successfully completed a critical phase of the project, which involved clearing the area and preparing it for future development.”

Cortes Currents: Has it been temporarily or permanently put ‘on hold,’ and if so, why?

Marco Bedetti: “We have advanced the Squirrel Cove Project to a critical stage of development that is essential, regardless of the final direction we choose for the project. While the site will undoubtedly be developed, we are currently evaluating the most strategic and effective approach to move forward. To answer your question in a nutshell, it is a temporary hold.”

Cortes Currents: Will QXMC build a gas station and mini market at Squirrel Cove? And, if so, do you have a potential date for completion?

Our plans for this development remain in place; however, we are actively evaluating additional strategic options that could be integrated with the Squirrel Cove Project. As part of this process, we are assessing potential capital reallocation and exploring how complementary projects might enhance overall development objectives.
