As the end of his first year online approaches, Hiway Hippy’s DJ days are taking another turn. His bus was parked in Manson’s Landing when I climbed on board to find out when the End of the Row Show goes on the Road.
On The Road
“Our first stop is going to be this week-end in Parksville at the Food Truck Festival. We’re invited there, so last Friday’s I put in a couple of plugs for the Food Truck Festival. I’m going to put in a couple of more plugs for this weeks show and we thought that would be a good launching point for us because those people know where all the festivals are.” – Hiway Hippy
“This is a work of passion and of love. I do it because I love to do it, not because it pays me a wage – cause it certainly doesn’t.”

Thank you for the opportunity to speak with you Roy.
End of the Road Radio continues with the Gracious Hospitality of Cortes Community Radio allowing me the privilege to call CKTZ my “HOME” station, no matter where the show may broadcast from.
This year will see us travel all over the Islands meeting musicians and promoting local talent whenever we can.
Monica, myself as well as our two mascots look forward to taking this program to a new level and wish all the DJs a successful and joy filled year of broadcasting.
Peace, love & raisins..
