Suspected bots
The number of American plays was exceptionally high, but aside from 398 plays in Los Angeles they were also widely dispersed. The only alleged U.S. bot centres were: Boardman (25 plays), and Fremont (14 plays). To this I would add 2 plays from Etobicoke, a suburb of Toronto.
This guesstimate is skewed by the fact (1) some of the suspected bot plays may actually be people and (2) some of the remaining plays may have been made by bots rather than people.

*Footnote -There is a 10 month gap between a list of Cortes Currents top 100 posts in 2020 and the start of the Google G4A’s chronology in October 2021. There would undoubtedly have been some views on ‘Marnie’s Books – Small Bookstore with big draw on Cortes Island’ during this time, but they are not in the 1,042 total.
