Stats for July 2023

  • Cortes Currents – 4,121 people visited Cortes Currents, There was a core of at least 628 ‘return users,’ 182 of which came more than 26 times and 37 came more than 200 times. The new Google Analytics G4A program identified a smaller ‘not set’ (i.e rural) group of 236 visitors, who appear to come from Cortes, Quadra, and the surrounding areas. They are a subset of  ‘Not Set’ Area #1. The top 3 nations of origin were Canada (65.61%), United States (22.79%) and American Samoa (1.33%).According to the Google Search Console Team, Cortes Currents made 156,000 web impressions, had 2,820 clicks and approximately 351 pages with first page impressions on the web.
  • 51.68% of all return users came through web searches; 14.67% were referred by third party sites (like the Tideline); 19.88% came directly to the site; 12.78% were referred by social media (like Facebook).
  • SoundCloud Podcasts – 1,701 Plays; The top 3 nations of origin were Canada (54.85%), the United States and Ireland (1.15%) The top 3 locations were: (1) CKTZ’s Broadcast Area 36.96% (Mansons Landing – 584 plays; Campbell Rover – 16 plays) (2) Boardman, Oregon – 15.93%; (3) Columbus Ohio – 13.40%
