Wegg talks about COVID, the election and ‘next time’

After a strong showing in 2019, the 2021 election seems like a step backward for the Green party, but Jessica Wegg is already talking about the next election. 

“There is too much at stake for us to loose hope or lose sight of that the goal is,” she said. “I think Vancouver Island is uniquely situated for Greens to do very well.”

Claire Rattée, the Conservative candidate for Skeena–Bulkley Valley said she will not be signing an online pledge put forth by a Wet’suwet’en Gidimt’en clan asking candidates to commit to not provide federal funding for LNG Canada and Coastal GasLink projects in Northern B.C.
