Donation-based community dinners return in time for Lunar New Year

Toki Bap Café in Manson’s Hall is bringing back monthly dinners under the catchy name of “ACDC,” which stands for “A Community Dinner Club.” Kicking things off will be a Lunar New Year menu on Tuesday, Feb. 1 to celebrate the Year of the Tiger.

Cortes Island Slowly Reopening

There were four tables when Mansons Friday Market reopened, on May 29th. Last week there were seventeen. They spilled outside the hall and throughout much of the parking lot. There were a lot of new faces: some covered by masks, but mostly not. This was only one of many examples of Cortes Island slowly reopening.
